As moms, we share the common truth that our hearts live outside of our chests, divided equally among our precious children. Not all of our families look or function in the same way, and we are all experiencing different seasons of motherhood at this moment in our walk through life. No matter how old our children get or what season of life we’re in, we love our children fiercely and want them to thrive in this world. In the spirit of Lucky Star, let’s gather our precious girls, reinforce strong foundations, celebrate our unique mother-daughter relationships, create meaningful memories, and pLAy dEEp!
Camp Lucky Starlet will take place at Vista Camps located on the Guadalupe River in the heart of the Texas hill country between Ingram and Hunt, Texas. It will be a fun-filled weekend for mothers, step-mothers, grandmothers, aunts and the lucky daughters in their lives. You can expect a variety of activities and classes geared for all ages. There will be canoeing, hiking, archery, and a giant tree swing… campfires, sing-a-longs, s’mores… hands-on craft classes and special programming focused on how creativity feeds our souls, how values give us a strong foundation, how play lifts our spirits, and how traditions connect us to those we love. We want to help give Lucky Starlets of all ages the confidence they need to catch their dreams!
Girls must be 5 years of age or older to attend. Mothers and daughters will stay together in bunkhouse-style cabins which we will assign. Please let us know if you have friends coming so we can group you together! Kid-friendly meals will be served family-style starting with Friday evening dinner and ending with Sunday brunch. The cost for Camp Lucky Starlet is $250 per person ($500 for a mother-daughter pair) and includes lodging, meals, activities and special programs. To register, you must simply fill out the registration form and pay* the non-refundable $250 per person fee.

IMPORTANT – Please be sure the name of the people coming to camp and Camp Lucky Starlet is listed in the memo of the PayPal transaction (i.e. Payment for Jane & Jan Doe for Camp Lucky Starlet). It is unclear who is coming to camp if the only identifying information we have is your PayPal account email.
Flying? If you are flying in for Camp Lucky Starlet, we suggest you fly into San Antonio. It has the most daily flight arrivals and is closest to Hunt. The next best option is Austin International Airport. It’ll take approximately 2 hours to get from San Antonio airport to Waldemar and 3 hours from Austin International Airport.
Taking a shuttle service to and from the airport would be an easy and cost-effective way to go if there are enough other campers to ride-share. Campers are responsible for booking and paying for their own spaces on these shuttles. Book your shuttle as soon as you reserve your flights for best service. Individual rides are available, but sharing a ride is strongly encouraged because it will substantially reduce your cost. The folks at Hill Country Limo will happily group campers with similar arrival times for greatest savings. Tell them you are headed to Vista Camps in Ingram, Texas for Camp Lucky Starlet.
