Class Descripton
Learn to make your own soap bars – handcrafted from scratch using the cold process method. In this class, students will observe the process of creating soap batter from natural vegetable oils, water, and lye. We will go over using established soap base recipes as well as creating your own formulas. After our soap base is mixed, students will have the opportunity to customize their own 1-pound batch of soap with a selection of fun colors and scents. Students will get to bring home their batch of soap in a wooden reusable soap mold and one finished soap bar that is already cured and ready for use.

- Large towel to insulate your soap
Supply Fee includes
- 1-pound wooden soap mold
- Scents and colorants to customize soaps
- Soap base ingredients: vegetable oils, butters, and lye Mixing materials (cups and popsicle sticks)
- Wax paper and rubber band
- Safety gloves
