Mosaic Fun for Everyone!

The ancient art of mosaic is one of the most fun and easy ways to use stained glass and other materials. This beginner class will cover all the basics of mosaic artwork, including materials, design, terminology, adhesives, finishes, and more! Instructors Sondra Kretschmar and Kathryn Welch will teach this class in two parts, with the instruction and creating of the piece happening during a three hour class session. The students will then need to attend a much shorter “extra” session outside of class to grout and clean their pieces. Students are welcomed and encouraged to bring their own elements that they would like to incorporate into a mosaic.
