Discover how felting can not only repair holes and cover stains but can transform your wardrobe into a canvas for self-expression. You’ll learn the art of needle felting and use your new skills to upgrade a sweater with vibrant wool roving. Whether you adorn your sweater with an inside joke, colorful abstract accents, or even a tribute to your favorite food—the possibilities are endless!
Please bring with you a sweater that you want to customize with needle felting. I’ve had success felting onto wool and acrylic sweaters, so any sweater should work great. The felting you add will be permanent, so keep that in mind when selecting a garment to personalize.
Materials to Bring
- Bring a sweater to personalize. This can be wool or acrylic. Felting can mend small holes and cover stains, so this is a great project to rescue an old sweater in need of an upgrade! The felting you add will be permanent, so keep that in mind when selecting a garment to personalize.
Supply Fee includes
- 3 Felting Needles (36T, 38T, 40T)
- 1 Foam Felting Mat (5x5”)
- Shared use of: Wool in Various Colors, Cookie Cutters in Various Shapes and Sizes, Scissors, Extra Felting Needles, Disappearing Ink Pens
