Class Descripton

Discover the art of ceramic sculpture in this hands-on clay workshop. Students will get to create their own hand-sculpted succulents from dyed porcelain and high temperature wire. This process is surprisingly forgiving and beginner friendly. All you need is patience and a little guidance from your instructor to make your own adorable porcelain plants. Finished pieces will be dried, glazed, and fired at Mary Helen’s pottery studio in Austin, Texas, then shipped to students in about 4 weeks.

  • 1 pound dyed porcelain clay
  • High temperature sculpting wire
