You Can Create Stained Glass Art!

This course is designed for those who have never worked with stained glass, or for those who have a very elementary knowledge. You will learn how to cut and grind glass, how to work in the copper foil, or Tiffany method, and the proper way to solder. Instructors Sondra Kretschmar and Kathryn Welch of River City Glassworks will introduce you to all the tools, techniques, and materials of the trade. When you have completed this course, you will have a beautiful suncatcher to show for it, as well as an understanding of the basic skills used in the art of stained glass.
