A self-proclaimed ADD crafter, Jennifer Perkins is a Jill of several different crafty trades. One minute she is making candles from crayons the next she is collaging with a 70’s Sears catalog. The constant theme through those creative endeavors is her love of kitsch, color and all things vintage. Whether she is crafting or decorating a Kitschmas tree, her distinct style shines through.
Jennifer has had many careers within the creative industry. She started as a jewelry designer with her company The Naughty Secretary Club. Through the years she has hosted 2 television shows and a weekly Facebook Live broadcast for HGTV, was a brand ambassador for a Christmas tree company, and a craft magazine editor for Walmart Stores. She has done ad campaigns for Michaels and JoAnn, has been a guest on the Rachael Ray show multiple times, and had her work featured in places like Country Living, Better Homes and Gardens, and Flea Market Decor. As an artist she has done installations for the Austin City Limits music festival and participated in several gallery shows. Jennifer is also the author of 5 craft books and teaches creative workshops regularly around the country.
Jennifer lives in Austin, TX with her two kiddlets, husband, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and 3 cats. If she’s not crafting she’s at the thrift store and she is such a firm believer in the mantra “glue stuff to stuff” that she has a tattoo of a hot glue gun to prove it!
