Class Descripton
In this fun and meditative three hour stitching class, ladies will bring a photo of a pet, place, or anything they want to capture, to be embroidered. I’ll show you how to transfer that image onto fabric on a hoop without drawing on the fabric so you can begin to duplicate your picture. We should have time to transfer the image and get well into embroidering. Instructions on basic stitches will be covered. All necessary materials other than photo will be supplied. No prior experience is needed. It’s easy to learn and the finished product makes a great gift or treasured new wall hanging.
Materials to Bring
- Bring scissors and a picture of the image you want to embroider. Image needs to be less than 7 inches in diameter.
Fee includes
- 8"" Embroidery hoop
- 12” x 12” Linen type fabric (color options black, tan, white) backed by fusible interfacing
- Embroidery needle
- Contrasting thread to fabric color for transfer
- Tracing paper
- 5 embroidery floss skeins in variety of colors for your image
- Shared use of extra skeins of embroidery floss for added color options
