What is it?
Join me and your fellow campers in a hands-on terrarium-making workshop that’s perfect for plant lovers, DIY enthusiasts, science nerds, or those who enjoy the zen of working with and in nature. They’re fun to create, easy to care for, and they are perfect for indoor spaces and the outdoors. No green thumb required!
What will you learn?
The science behind terrariums and how they work.
Choosing the right container and plants.
Layering soil, charcoal, gravel, moss, and other materials.
Care tips, plant education, and some of my fave plant apps!

Your very own glass garden!
Materials to Bring
- Your kit includes everything you need, but you are welcome to bring additional open or closed glass containers of varying sizes to complete as time permits. I also encourage you to bring any watersafe trinkets and materials to make it your own. Think geodes, branches, dried leaves or floral, and even miniatures that one might use for a doll house or diorama!
Kit Fee includes
- Your kit includes a 10 - 12” high glass container with lid, a variety of terrarium friendly plants, soil, gravel, rocks, sand, moss, bark, wood, activated charcoal as well as shared use of specialized terrarium tools such as trowels, scissors, and tweezers.
