
Laura Pipkin likes to have her hands in many varied pots. Originally from Houston, currently a resident of Hunt, Laura is the former Chef at Camp Waldemar. She has worked in many different fields of creative production. She has in her arsenal experience as a school teacher and administrator, massage therapist, wine geek/buyer, cookbook author, jewelry fabricator/designer, camp chef/counselor/women’s retreat instructor of creative classes (leather and enamels) and self-described gastronomist, with a focus and fascination on international cuisine and the cultural significance of food of place.
