Class Descripton

In this class, you will learn to carve, stamp, and paint your way to making a leather journal that is perfectly yours! Once the decorative details are complete, you will learn to assemble your leather journal using different hand stitching techniques.

Materials to Bring

  • Bring an apron to protect clothing while painting.
  • Optional: Small bottles of acrylic paints in your favorite colors ( There will be paint provided for your use.)

Kit Fee Includes

  • leather journal blanks
  • needle
  • tiger thread
  • tracing paper
  • tracing tape
  • field notes notebook for you to take home
  • The following items will be available for class use: mallet, set of stamps, granite block, paints, brushes, tracing tools, pencils, and hole punches
