Digital art doesn’t have to be scary—it should be fun!
Procreate is packed with amazing tools and endless creative possibilities… but opening that blank canvas can feel like staring into the void (with way too many buttons). Let’s change that!
In this laid-back, step-by-step class, we’ll use our iPads to make art together.
I’ll guide you through the process using a doc camera and TV, so you can follow along easily and feel totally supported every step of the way. No pressure, no perfection—just play!
What we’ll cover:
How to get started without getting overwhelmed
What layers are (and why they’re awesome)
Brushes, tools, and all the goodies inside Procreate
Time-saving shortcuts and easy gestures
Creating custom color palettes
My favorite tips, tricks, and aha moments
We’ll create a complete digital artwork side by side—from the first sketch to the final details—so you’ll leave with new skills and your very own masterpiece!

Class Supplies
- Important Tech Info – Read Before You Register!
- To fully participate in this class, you’ll need these three must-have items...
- 1. An iPad that is compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro (fully charged)
- 2. An Apple Pencil Pro (not a knockoff or off-brand stylus)
- 3. An iPad charger. Please come with your iPad fully charged.
- Regular Apple Pencils (1st or 2nd generation) won’t work well for this class, and non-brand pencils don’t support the features we’ll be using.
- Compatible iPads: One of these models is needed: iPad Pro 11-inch (M4, 2024), iPad Pro 13-inch (M4, 2024), iPad Air 11-inch (M2, 2024), iPad Air 13-inch (M2, 2024)
