Designing Handmade Cards and Envelopes

There is something extra special about opening your mailbox and finding something made by hand. In this class, we’ll loosen up, play, and turn simple paper into little works of art meant to be shared.

Using drawing, mark making, pattern, color, and plenty of spontaneous doodling, you’ll create your own collection of one of a kind cards and coordinating envelopes. Jennifer will encourage you to forget about perfection and experiment with playful florals, abstract shapes, unexpected color combinations, lettering, and whatever else shows up on the page. We will get creative with fun fonts and leaving open spaces to write in addresses.

Make thank you notes, love notes, birthday cards, or just because cards. You’ll leave with a colorful collection of handmade cards and envelopes ready to send into the world.
